12 notesIm watching a documentary about this guy right now.
Edward Gein, murderer, Psychotic, Body Snatcher. This guy used to dig up graves of women and cut their body parts off, and skin them to make coverings for his furniture. He made bowls out of skulls, and made women costumes out of their skin. He would put on the costumes and act like it was his mother. He also wanted to be a woman so he thought making a woman suit out of their skin would suffice. He also killed two women that resembled his mother in a hope to bring her back from the dead or something. When the cops searched his home, they found a decapitated body hanging from her heels in his shed, and she was gutted, cleaned out. they also found:
- Four noses
- Whole human bones and fragments
- Nine masks of human skin
- Bowls made from human skulls
- Ten female heads with the tops sawn off
- Human skin covering several chair seats
- Mary Hogan’s head in a paper bag
- Bernice Worden’s head in a burlap sack
- Nine vulvae in a shoe box
- A belt made from female human nipples
- Skulls on his bedposts
- A pair of lips on a draw string for a window-shade
- A lampshade made from the skin from a human face
He inspired the the characters norman bates from psycho, Leatherface from the texas chainsaw massacre, and buffalo bill from the silence of the lambs. Creepy ass dude.
